Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd. is recruiting an SEMH Inclusion Support Worker in Leeds to support students across KS3/KS4 with SEMH needs.

The role involves assisting learning, implementing positive behaviour strategies, and providing emotional support to help students build confidence and social skills. The ideal candidate will have Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent, experience with SEMH needs, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour.
• Strong behaviour management strategies and de‑escalation techniques.
• Excellent communication and ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support students with learning and promote inclusion and personal development.
• Manage challenging behaviours using positive behaviour strategies and de‑escalation techniques.
• Provide emotional support to students and help develop confidence, resilience and social skills.
