TeacherActive is working with a specialist setting in Leeds to recruit an SEMH Teaching Assistant. You will support students with SEMH needs, helping to manage challenging behaviour and encourage engagement across the school day.

This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with daily rates of £100 - £120, ASAP start, and a dedicated consultant to assist you throughout placement.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour.
• Experience working within an education, SEND or alternative provision setting.
• Strong behaviour management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support students with SEMH needs and manage challenging behaviour throughout the school day.
• Encourage engagement with learning and maintain consistent, positive routines.
