Job summary

Willow Bank School is seeking a dynamic Cover Supervisor to support learning for pupils aged 8–16 in a highly inclusive SEMH provision. You will supervise KS3/KS4 classes when teachers are absent and lead targeted interventions to close learning gaps.

The role includes working with the Pastoral Team to promote positive outcomes, maintaining a supportive learning environment, and ensuring ECHP needs are met in line with school policies.

Qualifications

• Experience working with pupils with SEMH (social, emotional and mental health) needs is highly desirable.
• Ability to build positive relationships and maintain a supportive learning environment.
• Awareness of pupils' ECHP requirements and school policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes across Key Stages 3 and 4 in the absence of teaching staff.
• Lead targeted interventions to close gaps in learning and support pupil progression.
• Work with the Pastoral Team to promote positive outcomes and wellbeing.
