Job summary

Willow Bank School in St Helens invites applications for a dynamic Cover Supervisor to support pupils aged 8–16 in a highly inclusive SEMH setting. The role focuses on supervising classes in KS3/KS4, ensuring continuity when teachers are absent, and driving targeted interventions to promote progress.

Experience with SEMH is highly desirable; you will work with the Pastoral Team to meet each pupil’s ECHP and school policies.

Responsibilities

• supervise classes across Key Stages 3 and 4 to ensure continuity of learning in the absence of teaching staff.
• lead targeted interventions for specific groups and individuals to close gaps in learning.
• support the Pastoral Team and help pupils in their learning journey.
