Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting for a Behaviour Support Officer in Lichfield to support primary pupils with SEMH needs. The role is full-time, long-term, with an immediate start, paying £100-£130 per day. You will provide 1:1 and small group mentoring, support learning and behaviour, and help develop individual behavioural plans.

You will work with senior leaders, families and external agencies to improve pupil outcomes through consistent, positive strategies for emotion regulation and engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEMH needs in an educational setting.
• Experience delivering 1:1 and small group interventions.
• Knowledge of positive behaviour approaches and self-regulation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group mentoring to pupils with SEMH needs.
• Support learning and manage behaviour in and outside the classroom.
• Develop individual behaviour support plans with senior staff.
• Collaborate with families and external agencies to improve pupil outcomes.
