Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a Behaviour Support Officer for a specialist SEMH primary school in Lichfield. The role is full-time and long-term with an immediate start, providing 1:1 and small group mentoring, supporting learning and behaviour inside and outside the classroom.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needs.
• Experience providing behaviour support within an education or similar setting.
• Confidence delivering 1:1 and small group interventions and mentoring.
• Strong knowledge of positive behaviour and self-regulation strategies.
• The ability to monitor, record and contribute to the analysis of behaviour.
• A positive, resilient and consistent approach to building relationships with pupils.
