Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a Behaviour Support Assistant to work in Trafford across primary and secondary SEMH schools. You will support pupils with SEMH needs, including ADHD, anxiety and emotional regulation, in 1:1 and small group settings.

The role focuses on building positive relationships, de-escalating challenging behaviour, and promoting engagement and inclusion. A rewarding opportunity to help vulnerable students build confidence and positive behaviours.

Teaching Personnel

Do you have experience supporting young people and managing challenging behaviour? Teaching Personnel is recruiting Behaviour Support Assistants to work in primary and secondary SEMH schools across Trafford.

You'll support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, including ADHD, anxiety, trauma, attachment difficulties, emotional regulation challenges, and behaviours that impact learning. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference, helping students build confidence, develop positive behaviours, and achieve success in education.

The Role

As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support to manage their behaviour, emotions, and engagement with learning.

No two days are the same, and your ability to remain calm, patient, and consistent will make a real difference to students' lives.
