Job summary

Senploy is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor in Croydon to support pupils with SEMH and challenging behaviours. You will work one-to-one and in small groups, building relationships and teaching strategies to regulate emotions and behaviour.

You'll collaborate with teachers, the SENCo and pastoral teams, following individual plans and reporting progress. A long-term, full-time placement with weekly pay and CPD opportunities is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEMH or challenging behaviours.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and model regulation.
• Strong de-escalation and behaviour-management skills.
• Build trusting relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted one-to-one and small-group support.
• Work with pupils to identify emotions and triggers.
• Implement individual behaviour and support plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, the SENCo and pastoral team.
• Monitor patterns in behaviour and progress and share observations.
