Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor for a specialist SEMH school in Chigwell, offering full-time, on-site support to primary-aged pupils with SEMH needs.

You will provide 1:1 and small group support, help pupils regulate emotions, stay engaged, and work with a supportive team to help each child reach their targets.

Applicants should have experience with SEMH/SEND, be patient and resilient, and have appropriate safeguarding training and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEMH, SEND, or challenging behaviour.
• Patient, resilient and able to stay calm under pressure.
• Understand importance of consistency, boundaries, and building relationships.
• All applicants require appropriate qualifications and safeguarding training.
