Job summary

QinetiQ in Farnborough invites applications for a Security Services Administrator – Vetting to support pre-employment screening for employees, contractors and associates. The role covers administering the Vetting Lifecycle in line with government and company procedures, processing clearances and monitoring expiry dates.

You'll guide colleagues on BPSS and NSV as needed, ensure data protection compliance, and contribute to maintaining national security standards within the team.

Qualifications

• A-Levels or college qualification in business administration (or similar).
• DISA Vetting Administrator qualification (NVQ Level 2).
• Evidence of recent relevant experience in a similar role desirable.

Responsibilities

• Administer pre-employment screening for all employees, contractors and associates.
• Manage all elements of the Vetting Lifecycle in line with policy and procedures.
• Process and record vetting applications/clearances for permanent employees, contractors and associates.
• Monitor existing clearance expiries and manage renewals.
• Provide guidance on BPSS and national security vetting to all levels of staff.
• Ensure compliance with data protection legislation and internal policies.
