Job description

Great opportunity to work as a Security Team Leader for G4S, a leading global security and outsourcing group, specialising in outsourcing of business processes in sectors where security and safety risks are considered a strategic threat.

G4S is recruiting for a Security Team Leader to work in Weybridge.

The rate of pay is £ per hour.

The successful candidate will need to have over 1 year of experience in Security.

You will also need to hold a valid SIA license.

The shift pattern is working 2 days, 2 nights, and then 4 days off. This will be contracted to 42 hours a week.

Your Time at Work

• Security Officer functions and assistance with the day-to-day running of the site control room operation.
• Completion of activity logs, including incident reports, equipment faults, etc.
• Answering incoming calls and providing advice/escalation as required.
• Input into Security Equipment Fault register, ensuring repairs or escalation.
• Issuing site keys and maintaining relevant logs.
• Control Room coordination of site incidents, reporting, and closing incidents.
• Ensuring Health & Safety issues are logged and reported.

The ideal candidate will be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator, a team player, and committed to providing friendly and professional service. Good IT knowledge is also essential.

• Previous Team Leader experience is desirable.
• Security Industry Training basic qualification and SIA license are required.
• Ability to operate security equipment such as radios, fire safety equipment, access control systems, alarms, and CCTV.
