Job summary

AEG Europe seeks a Security Systems & Operations Manager for The O2 in London to oversee security technologies and related projects. The role requires evenings and weekend work to support events and ensure continuous protection and operational readiness.

You will manage CCTV, access control, alarms and screening technologies, lead security audits, coordinate with IT, Building Management and Venue Operations, and drive improvements across the venue.

Qualifications

• Experience managing security systems in a complex, operational environment.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, alarms and screening technologies.
• Experience delivering security technology projects from procurement to handover.
• Knowledge of asset lifecycle management and maintenance planning.
• Ability to support security operations during live events and incidents.

Responsibilities

• Security Systems Management: maintain and improve CCTV, access control, alarms and screening tech.
• Technology, Vulnerability and Assurance: identify vulnerabilities, lead audits and ensure compliance.
• Projects, Assets and Investment: deliver security technology projects end-to-end.
• Suppliers and Commercial Management: manage contractors, service providers and budgets.
• Operational Security and Incident Support: provide security management during events and incidents.
• People, Training and Collaboration: develop training and build cross-team relationships.
