Job summary

The O2 is seeking a capable Security Systems Manager to oversee CCTV, access control, alarms and screening technology. You will monitor performance, resolve issues and ensure resilience and recovery arrangements for a high-profile venue in London.

Lead security audits and assurance activities, manage suppliers and budgets, and support live events with strong governance and incident planning. You’ll develop training and collaborate across Security, IT, Building Management and Venue Operations.

Qualifications

• Experience managing security systems within a complex, operational and customer-facing environment.
• Knowledge of asset lifecycle management, maintenance planning and system replacement programmes.
• Understanding of security governance, policies, procedures and assurance activities.
• Ability to support security operations during live events and incidents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, testing and continuous improvement of security systems including CCTV, access control, alarms, communications and screening technology.
• Monitor system performance, resolve issues and ensure resilience and recovery arrangements.
• Lead audits, testing programmes and assurance activities in compliance with data protection and information security laws.
• Deliver security technology projects from planning through installation, testing and handover.
• Manage contractors, service providers and budgets to ensure value for money.
• Provide security management support during events and incidents.
• Develop training and guidance to help teams use security systems safely and effectively.
