Job summary

Quartzelec is seeking a Security Systems Engineer to join our Wrexham LV Team. This field-based role has a base in Filton, Bristol, with service locations including Brize Norton and London.

You will install, maintain and commission electronic security systems, delivering high standards of service and customer satisfaction. Reporting to a Contract Manager, you will diagnose faults, perform PPM, respond to call-outs, and work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with installation and maintenance of electronic security systems.
• Strong communication (written and verbal).
• Able to work independently or in a team.

Job description

We are looking for a Security Systems Engineer to join our Wrexham LV Team, This is a field-based position with a primary site base in Filton, Bristol, supporting key client locations including Brize Norton and London.

Reporting to a Contract Manager, you will play a key role in the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of a range of electronic security systems, ensuring high levels of service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation, servicing, and commissioning of Electronic Security Systems
• Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
• Diagnosing faults and completing corrective maintenance and repairs
• Responding to emergency call-outs and participating in standby rota
• Undertaking fault finding, testing, and remedial works

To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience and strong technical knowledge across a range of security systems, including:

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Due to the nature of our work, all successful applicants must be able to pass:

• BS7858:2019 security screening
• Enhanced DBS check
