Job summary

Quartzelec is seeking a Security Systems Engineer to join our Wrexham LV Team, with a field-based role and a primary site base in Belfast, supporting key client locations. Reporting to a Contract Manager, you will install, maintain, and commission a range of electronic security systems to ensure high levels of service and customer satisfaction.

The role requires proven experience across security systems and strong technical knowledge, plus the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience and strong technical knowledge across electronic security systems.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Compliance with BS7858:2019 security screening and Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Installation, servicing, and commissioning of electronic security systems.
• Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
• Diagnosing faults and completing corrective maintenance and repairs.
• Responding to emergency call-outs and standby rota participation.
• Fault finding, testing, and remedial works.
