Duties And Responsibilities

As Security Supervisor, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:

• Assist in controlling, coordinating, and participating in the activities of all personnel engaged in securing all resort properties, guests, hosts, and to follow the instructions of the Security Manager.
• Conduct security patrols within and around the hotel.
• Coordinate activities of all uniformed outsourced guards engaged in the implementation of management, safety, and security procedures of the resort.
• Represent Security Manager while on shift in handling emergency cases at the resort in accordance with hotel policy.
• Coordinate closely with engineering, reception, food and beverage, and housekeeping hosts to ensure guest safety and security.
• Recommend areas of improvement in safety and security activities to Security Managers.
• Review all security reports submitted at the end of shifts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Inform the Security Manager of any incidents that have occurred in the hotel.
• Uphold Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation, maintaining and exceeding performance benchmarks.
• Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.

Qualifications

To execute the position of Security Supervisor, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels, including:

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years’ experience in a similar hotel operational setting.
• Technical skills include MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Familiarity with various security systems is required. Updated certifications in First Aid, CPR, and Defibrillator are necessary.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• SIA licence.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are preferred.
