Job summary

Guarding UK is seeking an experienced Security Supervisor to lead a client-facing security team in Central London. You will set standards, manage shifts, ensure SIA-licensed officers are on duty and act as the main liaison between GUK and the client, delivering an exceptional security service.

The role demands strong leadership, clear communication, proactive incident handling, and a high level of personal accountability within a fast-paced corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Strong security industry experience.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Valid SIA licence appropriate to the role.
• Confident leadership and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer and stakeholder focus.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Good organisational and IT skills.
• High levels of personal accountability, professionalism and integrity.
• Experience using Timegate or a similar workforce-management system.
• First Aid and Fire Marshal qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and supervise the security team and set performance standards.
• Deliver shift briefings, allocate resources and oversee client relations.
• Ensure officers hold valid SIA licences and maintain site procedures.
• Investigate incidents and manage security responses and reporting.
• Maintain health and safety compliance and risk assessments.
• Provide exceptional client and stakeholder service.
