Job summary

Bidvest Noonan is seeking a Security Officer to join our onsite team with our client. You’ll deliver professional security services, greet visitors, and support daily building operations.

The role focuses on maintaining exceptional customer service in reception and meeting areas, coordinating with the Building Management team, and ensuring visitors are directed efficiently. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet all visitors using proper protocols.
• Manage day-to-day running of the building.
• Maintain high service levels in reception areas and meeting suites.
• Provide information to staff and visitors on policies and operations.
• Answer telephone calls promptly and direct to appropriate personnel.
• Coordinate with Building Management and colleagues.
• Manage car parking and ensure visitors use correct bays.

We are looking for a Security Officer to join us onsite with our client, you'll be someone who prides themselves in providing professional security services. Does this sound like you?

What the day to day looks like

• To meet and greet all visitors promptly, using the correct protocols to ensure that each visitor feels special and cared for
• Day to day running of building
• Ensure that an exceptional level of service is always maintained in reception areas and meeting suites, including contacting the meeting hosts
• Build and maintain a current, working knowledge of all policies, actions, systems, and developments, as well as general information, to be able to provide staff and visitors with information as required
• Ensure that the telephone is answered in a timely and professional manner and transferred to the appropriate personnel or message are taken
• To maintain close working relationships with the relevant Building Management team and to coordinate efforts
• To control car parking and ensure visitors use allocated correct parking bays

Skills & Experience required

• Do you have previous experience in a similar role would be preferred?
• Do you have excellent written and verbal communication skills?
• Do you have b asic computer literacy required?
• Do you have e xcellent attention to detail and able to respond to issues in an effective efficient manner?
