Bidvest Noonan is seeking a Security Officer to join our onsite client team in Glasgow. You will be responsible for welcoming visitors, managing reception areas and meeting suites, and ensuring security and information flows run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Previous security/reception experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet all visitors promptly using correct protocols.
• Manage day-to-day running of the building.
• Maintain exceptional service in reception areas and meeting suites, including contacting meeting hosts.
• Maintain knowledge of policies, actions, systems and general information to assist staff and visitors.
• Answer telephone promptly and transfer or take messages.
• Coordinate with Building Management and related teams.
• Control car parking and ensure visitors use allocated bays.

We are looking for a Security Officer to join us onsite with our client, you'll be someone who prides themselves in providing professional security services. Does this sound like you?

What the day to day looks like

• To meet and greet all visitors promptly, using the correct protocols to ensure that each visitor feels special and cared for
• Day to day running of building
• Ensure that an exceptional level of service is always maintained in reception areas and meeting suites, including contacting the meeting hosts
• Build and maintain a current, working knowledge of all policies, actions, systems, and developments, as well as general information, to be able to provide staff and visitors with information as required
• Ensure that the telephone is answered in a timely and professional manner and transferred to the appropriate personnel or message are taken
• To maintain close working relationships with the relevant Building Management team and to coordinate efforts
• To control car parking and ensure visitors use allocated correct parking bays

Skills & Experience required

• Do you have previous experience in a similar role would be preferred?
• Do you have excellent written and verbal communication skills?
• Do you have b asic computer literacy required?
• Do you have e xcellent attention to detail and able to respond to issues in an effective efficient manner?
