Job summary

Bidvest Noonan in Stockport is seeking a Security Officer to join onsite and provide professional security services. You will greet visitors, monitor the shopping centre and uphold exceptional service standards.

The role requires clear communication and basic computer literacy, plus strong attention to detail and the ability to respond to issues promptly. You will work closely with Building Management to coordinate security operations and protect staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy required.
• Excellent attention to detail and able to respond to issues effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet visitors promptly using correct protocols.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Shopping Centre.
• Maintain an exceptional level of service at all times.
• Maintain knowledge of policies, actions, systems and developments to assist staff and visitors.
• Coordinate efforts with Building Management to ensure security operations.

What the day to day looks like

• To meet and greet all visitors promptly, using the correct protocols to ensure that each visitor feels special and cared for
• Day to day running of Shopping Centre
• Ensure that an exceptional level of service is always maintained.
• Build and maintain a current, working knowledge of all policies, actions, systems, and developments, as well as general information, to be able to provide staff and visitors with information as required
• To maintain close working relationships with the relevant Building Management team and to coordinate efforts
