Job summary

Bidvest Noonan is seeking a Security Officer to join our on-site team in Exeter, working every Saturday day shift with occasional cover for annual leave or sickness. You will meet and greet visitors, manage the day-to-day running of the building, and maintain an exceptional level of service in reception and meeting suites.

A strong communicator with basic computer literacy and attention to detail will thrive in this role, providing staff and visitors with accurate information.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role would be preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy required.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to respond to issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet all visitors promptly using correct protocols.
• Day to day running of the building.
• Maintain an exceptional level of service in reception areas and meeting suites, including contacting hosts.
• Maintain current knowledge of policies, actions, systems and developments to assist staff and visitors.
• Answer the telephone promptly and transfer calls or take messages.
• Control car parking and ensure visitors use allocated bays.

We are looking for a Security Officer, working every Saturday day shift and on occassions covering annual leave or sickness to join us onsite with our client, you'll be someone who prides themselves in providing professional security services. Does this sound like you?

What the day to day looks like

• To meet and greet all visitors promptly, using the correct protocols to ensure that each visitor feels special and cared for
• Day to day running of building
• Ensure that an exceptional level of service is always maintained in reception areas and meeting suites, including contacting the meeting hosts
• Build and maintain a current, working knowledge of all policies, actions, systems, and developments, as well as general information, to be able to provide staff and visitors with information as required
• Ensure that the telephone is answered in a timely and professional manner and transferred to the appropriate personnel or message are taken
• To control car parking and ensure visitors use allocated correct parking bays

Skills & Experience required

• Do you have previous experience in a similar role would be preferred?
