Job summary

CIS Security in East London is seeking a Security Response Officer to act as the ambassador for the company, delivering high quality guarding and customer service to clients and park users.

You will handle incident management and response across QEOP, perform patrols and access control, maintain safety standards, and work across day and night shifts in all weather.

Qualifications

• SIA Door Supervisor licence is mandatory.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Customer service experience required.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Five years of checkable work history is expected.

Responsibilities

• Liaison and assistance of visitors to the park (Customer Service).
• Incident control and Response across QEOP areas.
• Manage Health safety & welfare of all on park land.
• Manage incidents that affect QEOP Operations.
• Manage QEOP buildings and public space security and safety.
• Reporting and monitoring incidents within the park.
• Maintaining contact with the Security Control Room.
• Crowd Management and providing solutions.
• Parking Enforcement.
• Access control duties
• To carry out patrol duties on vehicular, foot or other mains available over wide areas.
• Ensure all duties are carried out correctly.
• Ensure all incidents are logged and managed effectively through to completion.
• Life safety equipment checks and readiness.
• Complete weekly and monthly audits.
• Assist the general public with queries or issues.
• Enforce park rules and by-laws.
• Engage and manage contractor access to the Park.
• Maintain dress, safety and presentation standards.

CIS Security have an exciting opportunity available for a Security Response Officer who will be an ambassador to represent CIS Security and will demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users. You will provide clear communication and operational professionalism in the fields of incident management and response within a large public park lands.

These roles are based solely in outside external areas in all environmental conditions and require long periods of standing.

Information:

• Position: Security Response Officer
• Location: East London
• Salary: Site related pay (£14.80 / £15.47 per hour)
• Hours: Average 12 hours per annum
• Shifts: Various Shifts - Days & Nights

Job Requirements:

• SIA Door Supervisor Licence required
• SIA CCTV Licence desirable
• Customer service experience is required
• Security experience desirable
• Must have good command of English language
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to stand / patrol for long periods of time.
• Good levels of customer service, communication both written & verbal
• Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.
• Maintains working knowledge of the locations & security & safety for assigned areas
• Flexible in the approach to daily duties
• First Aid qualification & a CCTV SIA Licence is a bonus
• Must have five years of checkable work history Be confident you can undertake 100% of all specific duties.
• Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requested.

• Ensure enforcement with park rules, by-laws and Parking Enforcement.
• Engaging and managing contractor access to the Park.
• Ensure standards of dress, safety and presentation are maintained within the QEOP at all times
• Show and initiate initiative where possible.
• To adapt to any incident within the QEOP in a professional manner and manage it accordingly
• Provide a visual deterrent to criminality, gang activity and anti-social behaviour.
• Incident response.
• Must be able to Read, understand and follow all site related processes and procedures as laid down in Assignment Instructions, Post Instructions and any other form of communication that relates to an instruction.
• Any other reasonable request from the Management team.
