Job summary

Mitie is hiring a part-time security professional for locations including Winchester, Basingstoke and Andover. You will maintain professional presence, greet clients, manage ID badges, operate CCTV, alarm systems, IT systems and access control, and respond to incidents until authorities arrive.

The role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility in hours, and strong communication skills, with preference for previous security experience and an SIA license.

Qualifications

• SIA Licence - Door Supervision or Security Guarding required.
• Previous security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional presence: determined, trustworthy, attentive, and approachable.
• Welcome clients and visitors warmly.
• Issue and manage ID badges.
• Operate emails and IT systems.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems.
• Manage access control (doors and car park).
• Monitor and respond to potential criminal behaviour.
• Maintain control of incidents until emergency services arrive.
• Record, report, and elevate incidents to the Account Manager.
