Job summary

Mitie Group plc is seeking a part-time Security Relief Officer to provide professional security services across Winchester, Basingstoke and Andover. You will engage visitors, monitor access, and respond to incidents with vigilance and discretion.

The role requires knowledge of security procedures, strong customer service, teamwork, and clear communication. You will operate CCTV, alarms, and access control, and escalate incidents to the Account Manager as needed.

• Experience or knowledge of security procedures and practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional presence and approachable demeanor.
• Welcome clients and visitors; issue and manage IDs.
• Operate phones, emails, IT systems, CCTV, alarm and access control.
• Monitor and respond to suspicious activity or potential crime.
• Record, report and escalate incidents to the Account Manager.
• Maintain control of incidents until emergency services arrive.
