Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Security Operations Team Lead to oversee our global inhouse Security Operations, reporting to the Head of IT Operations and Service. You will supervise incident responses, monitor the IT estate, and align security with policy and standards.

You’ll work with our 24/7 SOC partner and cross‑functionally with IT Operations and Information Security to drive improvements and deliver security roadmaps. Hybrid working from Glasgow is available.

Qualifications

• Leads a lean inhouse Security Operations team and drives security initiatives.
• Deep understanding of modern security frameworks and governance standards.
• Hands-on with security tooling and cloud security across environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Security Operations team across the global estate.
• Oversee day-to-day monitoring, incident management and escalation.
• Ensure compliance with ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, NIS-2 and SOX.
• Collaborate with suppliers and security forums for roadmaps and analysis.
• Provide senior leadership with security posture summaries and guidance.
