Job summary

Aggreko plc in Glasgow is seeking a Security Operations Team Lead to steer the inhouse Security Operations team from the Glasgow office. You will manage incident responses, oversee monitoring of our global IT estate, and collaborate with a 24/7 SoC partner to ensure policy compliance across the business.

The role requires hands-on leadership, experience with modern security frameworks, and strong tooling knowledge across Palo Alto, Qualys, Cisco, and Microsoft security technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and managing technical teams in a global environment.
• Strong understanding of modern security frameworks and governance standards.
• Hands-on experience with security tooling and cloud security (Azure/AWS).
• Identity security across Entra/Active Directory and related platforms.
• Proven vulnerability management from discovery to remediation.

Responsibilities

• Lead inhouse Security Operations team and drive security technology rollouts.
• Oversee day-to-day security operations and incident management escalate processes.
• Ensure compliance with evolving security policies across the business.
• Collaborate with external suppliers and security service forums for roadmaps.
• Provide summaries and guidance to IT Senior Leadership.
