Job summary

Huxley in Glasgow is seeking a Head of Infrastructure, Operations & Security to lead a team delivering secure infrastructure and IT security services. You will oversee 6 engineers (security, cloud) and drive cyber security strategy, safe design, and major projects including legacy system decommissioning.

The role is initially a 6-month fixed-term contract with the potential to become permanent, with a competitive salary and benefits. Hybrid working with office attendance in Glasgow.

Qualifications

• Azure background with certification.
• Experience in Cloud and AI Security Engineer context.
• Proven team leadership and people management skills.
• Willingness to commute to Glasgow office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of 6 infrastructure staff (security/cloud).
• Lead cybersecurity strategy delivery and critical projects.
• Ensure secure solutions design, maintenance and performance of core infrastructure and end-user devices.
• Drive decommissioning of legacy systems and delivery of key security projects.
