Job summary

Doherty Associates in the City of London is seeking a Security Analyst to join the Managed Services team. This office-based role runs Monday to Friday, 10:30 to 19:00, reporting to the Head of Managed Services.

You will be the first responder on security tickets, triaging alerts and remediating issues to meet defined baselines. You will perform vulnerability scanning, patching, and configuration monitoring, deliver reports with actionable recommendations, and grow with a team of 2nd and 3rd line

Qualifications

GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics.
Relevant IT or Cyber Security qualification, or equivalent industry experience.
Previous experience in MSP or outsourced IT services, ideally in a IT Service Desk or Cyber Security role.
At least one of the following, or actively working towards achieving one of: Microsoft SC-900, CompTIA Security+, ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC).

Responsibilities

Act as a first responder on security tickets; responding promptly to alerts, incidents and requests logged by customers.
Assess, classify and prioritise incoming security tickets in line with internal SLAs, escalating where appropriate.
Accurately log and progress tickets within the ConnectWise Manage platform.
Remediate security issues to bring customer environments in line with defined security baselines, escalating to senior engineers where needed.
Carry out regular Vulnerability Management Service activities, such as running scans and producing reports.
