Job summary

Menzies LLP is recruiting an IT Security Analyst to join our IT & Innovation department, based in Woking or Manchester. The role focuses on monitoring security alerts, triaging incidents, and supporting vulnerability management.

You will work with the ServiceDesk and SoC teams to ensure robust security operations. Ideal candidates have a solid grasp of IT infrastructure, ITIL/ITSM, and security best practices, with strong documentation and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with IT service management and ITIL processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot common IT issues and escalate complex problems.
• Understanding of IT security principles, data protection and access management.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial triage and investigation of security incidents.
• Monitor security alerts and events from SIEM and other security tools.
• Participate in vulnerability management and patching.
• Maintain and update security documentation and procedures.
• Monitor Sec ops mailbox for alerts and triage them.
• Collaborate with ServiceDesk to resolve tickets related to security stack.
