Job summary

PA Consulting seeks an Information Security Analyst to join its Security Operations Centre. This full-time role in the UK requires residency for security clearance and offers hybrid working 2–3 days in the office, with a focus on protecting the technology estate and responding to incidents.

You will monitor SIEM/EDR/XDR, investigate alerts, hunt threats, tune detections, support forensics, and contribute to security improvements. On-call rota participation is included.

Qualifications

• Experience in SOC, incident response or security monitoring.
• Strong log analysis across endpoint, identity, email, cloud and network telemetry.
• Ability to document investigations clearly and explain findings.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and investigate security alerts across SIEM, EDR/XDR, email, cloud, identity, network security.
• Triage security events, determine scope and impact, coordinate containment and remediation, document evidence.
• Develop and tune detections, dashboards, playbooks and automation to improve coverage.
• Support vulnerability management and security improvement projects.
