Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a vigilant security professional to protect our client sites and assets in Livingston, Scotland. You will work on-site, following Assignment Instructions and ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.

You will hold an SIA license, work to meet KPIs, complete required training, and renew licences on schedule. The role emphasizes proactive incident reporting and collaboration with the Mitie team and client to sustain high service

Qualifications

• Prior security experience and understanding of site security operations.
• SIA license required; front-line licence must be valid.
• SC clearance desirable and may be preferred for certain sites.

Responsibilities

• Protect property, people and assets by delivering security services per published instructions.
• Meet and aim to exceed KPIs/SLAs to help retain contracts.
• Complete required competency training and ongoing professional development.
• Ensure compliance with policies, legal and regulatory requirements; renew licences before expiry.
• Report incidents promptly and maintain accurate incident records.
• Coordinate with Security Account Manager and client to maintain safety and service quality.
