Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a security officer to protect clients’ property, people and assets in line with published AI's across assigned sites in Scotland. You will deliver results that meet KPI/SLA and maintain contract retention by taking accountability.

The role includes mandatory licences and ongoing training to support professional growth within a leading FM company. This on-site role requires front-line licences (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) and CCTV PSS SIA

Qualifications

• Previous security experience required.
• SIA license is essential for this role.
• SC clearance desirable for site access.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of and ensure compliance with all policies and legal requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager.
• Fully and satisfactorily complete all tasks on site as defined within the Assignment Instructions (AI's).
• Review AI's for changes and suggest amendments to improve service levels.
• Maintain compliance with required front-line licences (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) and CCTV PSS SIA Licence.
• Follow safety obligations and report incidents in line with procedures.
• Work in a systematic, methodical way and document activities accordingly.
• Call emergency services and the Communication Centre to report incidents when necessary.
