Job summary

Nescot (North East Surrey College of Technology) in Epsom is seeking a security officer to help provide a safe environment for students, staff and visitors. You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday on a rota, with some weekends.

The role requires safeguarding awareness, initiative, and strong interpersonal skills to build professional relationships. Training is provided, and the campus is smoke-free.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to providing a safe and secure environment for our students, staff and visitors.
• Quickly assess situations and take appropriate actions.
• Provision of reception service at the Old Reception.
• Carrying out regular internal and external patrols.
• Carrying out investigations, or searches, as directed by the College management.
