Nescot is seeking a Security Officer to help maintain a safe campus environment. The role requires 40 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday on a rotating schedule between 8:45am and 9:15pm, with occasional weekends.
Duties include reception duties at the Old Reception, campus patrols, and rapid assessment of incidents to safeguard students and staff. The successful candidate will work independently, demonstrate initiative, and be committed to safeguarding.
A flexible approach to working hours is required. Full time hours of work are 40 hours per week, normally worked Monday-Friday on a rota basis operating between the hours of 8:45am - 9:15pm. Occasional weekends are required.
Nescot is graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted following its latest inspection in January 2023. Safeguarding arrangements are “effective” with regular training for staff, and leaders have in place “an effective policy for safer recruitment.”
