North East Surrey College of Technology (NESCOT) is seeking a security-minded professional to help maintain a safe campus environment. The role involves reception duties, patrols, investigations, and safeguarding students, staff and visitors.
You will need to work on a 40-hour week on a rota basis, with occasional weekends and a flexible schedule to cover mornings and evenings. The successful candidate will work independently, use initiative, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
A flexible approach to working hours is required. Full time hours of work are 40 hours per week, normally worked Monday-Friday on a rota basis operating between the hours of 8:45am - 9:15pm. Occasional weekends are required.
Nescot is graded 'Good' by Ofsted following its latest inspection in January 2023. Safeguarding arrangements are "effective" with regular training for staff, and leaders have in place "an effective policy for safer recruitment."
