Job summary
DPD seeks an experienced Security Officer to join the Security Central team in the UK. You will protect people and assets, operate CCTV and access control, and maintain incident reports in a fast-paced hub environment.

Qualifications
- Experience in security roles; training provided.
- Armed forces, prison service or police background welcomed.
- Strong IT and reporting skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safety and security of building and assets following site procedures.
- Write clear incident reports and take appropriate action.
- Investigate missing packages using CCTV and internal tracking systems.
- Coordinate activities between contractors, employees and visitors.
- Liaise with emergency services and third parties.
- Monitor CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
- Conduct regular patrols and searches of staff and visitors.
