Job summary

Halfords is seeking a vigilant Security Officer for our Coventry Distribution Centre to protect people, property and operations. You will manage access, monitor CCTV, conduct patrols and respond to incidents with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Control access to site and manage entry/exit for staff, visitors and contractors.
• Monitor CCTV and review footage to support investigations.
• Act as keyholder and manage opening/closing with alarms and access control.
• Perform regular patrols to identify security breaches and safety hazards.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies, coordinating with services.
• Assist with searches of people, vehicles or bags when needed.
• Support theft investigations and collaborate with Profit Protection.
• Provide first aid where trained and monitor contractor activity out of hours.
