Job summary

Anchor Group Services is seeking an experienced Security Officer to join our team at Gloucester Quays. You will conduct regular patrols, monitor activity and keep accurate records in line with site procedures. A current SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential (CCTV licence preferred).

The role covers days, evenings, nights and weekends and requires a high level of fitness. You will provide a professional service to visitors and staff, uphold security standards and report to the Operations

Qualifications

• Essential: SIA Door Supervisor Licence
• Preferred: CCTV SIA Licence
• Full 5-year employment checkable history
• Customer service experience and confidence to handle conflict
• Flexible to meet the job requirements
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Smart appearance and be well-groomed
• Reliable and punctual
• High level of enthusiasm and passion
• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment
• Able to meet the physical demands of the role, including regular patrols and extensive walking

Responsibilities

• Protecting client property, people and assets per AI's and site procedures
• Reporting irregularities and informing offenders of policy
• Escalating incidents to Control Room/Shift Manager/Emergency Services as appropriate
• Operating and monitoring site CCTV equipment
• Completing reports by recording observations and surveillance
• Maintaining compliance with legal requirements
• Contributing to team effort to achieve results
• Providing first-line support to visitors with a professional service
• Responding to customer queries and requests appropriately
• Maintaining professional conduct at all times
