Job summary

Kingdom Group is seeking a professional Security Officer for Sanctuary Supported Living's Lyndon Lodge in Leicester. You will oversee security, reception and concierge tasks, welcoming residents, visitors and staff while maintaining a safe environment.

The role requires a valid SIA Licence and strong communication skills; you will sign in/out visitors, monitor access, and respond to incidents on a 21:00–07:00 shift with 40 hours per week.

Position: Security Officer (Security, Reception & Concierge)
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 40 Hours Per Week
Shift Pattern: Monday - Thursday
Shift Times: 21:00 - 07:00

About the Role

Kingdom Group has an excellent opportunity for a professional and reliable Security Officer to join our team at Sanctuary Supported Living's Lyndon Lodge in Leicester. This is a security, reception and concierge-based role where you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors and staff. Duties include welcoming and signing visitors in and out, monitoring access to the building, carrying out regular patrols, monitoring CCTV systems, responding to incidents, completing reports and maintaining accurate site records. You will also assist with contractor access, report maintenance issues, carry out health and safety inspections, and ensure all security procedures are followed throughout your shift.

Skills & Experience Required

The successful candidate will hold a valid SIA Licence and possess excellent communication and customer service skills. You will be professional, approachable and confident dealing with residents, visitors and contractors. Previous experience in a security, concierge, reception or supported living environment is desirable but not essential. Applicants must have a keen eye for detail, be able to work independently, complete accurate reports, and provide a full five-year checkable employment history.
