Job summary

Kingdom Services Group is seeking a Security Officer at Hestia Crystal Palace, Orwell House, London. The role requires a valid SIA licence and Enhanced DBS, with 30 hours per week and shifts on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 19:00 to 05:00.

You will maintain a safe environment, control access, complete incident reports, conduct patrols and support residents and staff with a professional customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Security Licence is essential.
• Enhanced DBS check is required.
• Previous security experience is desirable.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Professional, reliable and self-motivated approach.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safety and security of the premises at all times
• Controlling access and preventing unauthorised entry to the site
• Completing site logbooks, records, and incident reports accurately
• Conducting regular patrols of the building and surrounding areas
• Monitoring site activity and responding to security incidents
• Challenging and reporting suspicious behaviour when necessary
• Supporting residents, visitors, and staff with a professional and customer-focused approach
• Following all site-specific procedures, policies, and health and safety requirements
• Maintaining effective communication with management and emergency services when required
