The role requires travel between locations, valid SIA licences, and a reliable, professional approach. Shifts include early mornings and weekends, with a 36+ hour week and a pay of £13.72 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Patrol stores to ensure the safety of customers, colleagues, and premises.
• Act as a visible deterrent to theft, loss, and anti-social behaviour.
• Monitor store activity and respond appropriately to incidents.
• Support store colleagues in maintaining a safe retail environment.
• Completing accurate incident reports and documentation.
• Handling challenging situations calmly, confidently, and professionally.
• Delivering excellent customer service and assisting customers where required.
• Working across multiple Tesco locations to provide relief cover and operational support.

Location: Bury St Edmunds (covering Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket, Ely, Haverhill, Sudbury and Thetford)

Pay: £13.72 per hour

Hours: 36+ hours per week

Shifts: 06:00–15:00 / 15:00–00:00

Requirements: Valid SIA Security Licence, SIA Door Supervisor Licence and own vehicle essential

This is a varied and rewarding role supporting multiple Tesco stores across the Bury St Edmunds area. You will provide a strong and visible security presence, helping to create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues whilst delivering excellent levels of customer service.

This position is ideal for individuals who are adaptable, proactive, and comfortable travelling between locations to provide operational support and cover where required.
