Job summary

The Ministry of Justice is seeking an experienced administrator to support the Security Intelligence Department within the establishment. You will assist the Head of Security and help deliver an effective intelligence system while maintaining administration workflows within set timescales.

• Ability to collate information and analyse.
• Ability to deal with staff at all levels assertively.
• Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and evaluate intelligence information to support decision making.
• Produce a monthly Intelligence Report and disseminate it.
• Regularly update line management regarding local security issues and any intelligence received.
• Ensure security information system is updated and staff trained in its use.
• Check security information and determine level of importance.
• Collate and distribute monthly targets for searching and mandatory drug tests.
• Deliver in-house training in intelligence related procedures.
• Liaise with external agencies and disseminate intelligence per local/national policies.
• Provide guidance to Security Manager on trends and issues.
• Monitor RIPA/CHIS procedures and IOCCO requirements.
• Maintain establishment databases and logs; produce reports.
• Arrange meetings and prepare paperwork.
