Job summary

The Ministry of Justice seeks a Physical Security Training and Planning Manager to join the Judicial Office: Strategy, Information and Digital. You will lead security training for judicial office holders and help establish an intelligence-led Judicial Security Office across England and Wales.

Based at multiple locations including London, Leeds or Loughborough, you will coordinate with security partners and support 24/7 incident response while maintaining 60% office attendance in line with Hybrid

Qualifications

• Experience in personal security, risk, resilience, investigations, law enforcement or operational response.
• Ability to build productive relationships across organisational boundaries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical security training, guidance and briefing to judicial office holders through various channels.
• Plan and run desktop exercises to prepare for potential security incidents.
• Support reviews of team demand, threat and risk within six months.
• Promote an inclusive culture within the team and the Judicial Security Office.
• Build relationships with judiciary, HMCTS, MoJ and law enforcement partners.
• Participate in an on-call rota to support 24/7 incident response.
