Job summary

EDF Energy is looking for a Security Installation Engineer at Hinkley Point C. The successful candidate will be responsible for installation and commissioning tasks, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining accurate site records.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years in the electronic security sector, a relevant IT or Electrical qualification, and strong detail-oriented skills. This role requires working in compliance with all site procedures and being part of a 24/7 call rota.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the electronic security industry.
• Understanding of basic electrical principles and components.
• Ability to maintain accurate and timely records.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission work as directed by the team.
• Conduct surveys and maintain site hardware configurations.
• Assist in producing Risk Assessments and Method Statements.

Skills

Installation and servicing of electronic security systems

IT knowledge including software installation
