Job summary

bet365 is expanding its Health, Safety and Security team in Stoke-on-Trent and seeks a Security Guard to support multiple offices. You will interact with staff, clients, and visitors, delivering exceptional service while maintaining confidentiality and GDPR compliance.

The role requires flexibility, including evenings, nights and weekends on a rota, with training provided. A valid UK driving licence is required to be considered for the role.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence.
• Experience in security, law enforcement or military service is advantageous.
• ACT awareness and ACT certifications or equivalent training are preferred.
• Ability to operate and monitor CCTV and other surveillance systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional conduct at all times.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify security risks.
• Basic IT skills for reporting and monitoring software.
• Proven ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure security control measures are followed and SOPs are adhered to.
• Produce accurate, detailed incident reports for management.
• Meet and greet staff and visitors in a polite, professional manner.
• Assist front desk security duties, including site access control and visitor passes.
• Oversee site activity by monitoring CCTV systems.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure site safety and security.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm and effective manner.

Job description

As a Security Guard, you will join the Health, Safety and Security team to support the continued expansion of our offices in Stoke-on-Trent.

Working as a Security Guard within the Health, Safety and Security team, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate exemplary customer service skills while engaging with staff, clients, and visitors.

You will provide security services across the Company’s locations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures designed to protect our employees, property, and assets. Integral aspects of the role include maintaining confidentiality, complying with GDPR and upholding a professional standard of conduct at all times.

This role requires flexibility, including the ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends on a rota basis. Relevant training will be provided.

Candidates must hold a valid full UK driving licence to be considered for the role.
