Job summary

Securitas UK is hiring a Security Officer in Brackley (NN13 7EX) to protect people, property, and assets while delivering a high level of customer service. The role includes internal and external patrols, CCTV monitoring, access control, visitor passes, and routine checks, with an emphasis on integrity, vigilance and professionalism.

You’ll work Fridays, 6:30am–5:30pm (11 hours per week) with day-one access to development opportunities, mentorship, and a range of benefits including big-brand

Qualifications

• Valid SIA licence required.
• Experience in environments affected by protests preferred.
• Strong English communication (written and spoken).
• Right to work in the UK with a 5-year history, able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal and external patrols as specified.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems and control site access.
• Issue visitor passes and manage keys; perform locking/unlocking duties.
• Maintain logs and records; support traffic and parking management.
• Respond to security incidents and lost property; perform routine equipment checks.

The role as aSecurity Officerincludes conducting internal and external patrols, monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, controlling site access, issuing visitor passes, managing keys, and carrying out locking and unlocking duties. You will also maintain accurate records, support traffic and parking management, perform routine equipment checks, and respond appropriately to security incidents, lost property, and other site-related issues.

Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate
• Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate
• Manage keys and perform locking andunlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions
• Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises

Qualifications
