Job summary

Hays Technology partnered with a leading MSP to hire a Level 2 Service Desk Engineer for a hybrid role in County Antrim. The role covers remote and on-site support across multiple client environments, focusing on Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune and security-focused technologies.

You will escalate to Level 3 as needed and mentor junior engineers while maintaining a strong security-first approach across IT infrastructure and cloud services.

Qualifications

• Experience in Level 2 IT support, ideally within MSP/multi-client environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows desktop and server operating systems.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and Entra ID.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Good customer service, communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and onsite Level 2 support across multiple customer environments.
• Escalate to senior teams and own incidents through to resolution.
• Support Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID, Azure and Intune.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, user accounts and permissions.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and infrastructure issues.
