Job summary

Ocho People Ltd. seeks a hands-on Level 2 Service Desk Engineer (Security Focus) in Antrim. You will own Level 2 tickets across multi-client environments, handle security alerts, and help deploy security policies. Hybrid work with on-site visits forms part of the role.

You should have solid Windows, Microsoft 365, and networking knowledge, plus an interest in security. A strong customer-service mindset and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Practical experience supporting Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and Entra ID.
• Strong knowledge of Windows desktop and server.
• Solid networking fundamentals and troubleshooting approach.
• Security‑minded with willingness to grow in security without a pure security role.

Responsibilities

• Own incidents and changes through to resolution with clear updates and records.
• Act as escalation point for Level 1 engineers and mentor peers.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID, Azure, Intune.
• Troubleshoot desktops, servers, networks, and business apps across multiple client environments.
• Respond to security alerts and help implement security policies and controls.
• Travel to client sites for on-site support and project deployments.
• Document solutions and known errors to improve team knowledge.
