Job summary

Evervault in London is hiring its first Security Engineer to own application security from day one within the platform team. You will work closely with engineers to secure products and run security reviews across systems.

In the first year you’ll split time between hands-on security engineering and audits, with a strong focus on PCI DSS and protecting cardholder data in a modern Rust/Node.js stack on AWS. You’ll influence security practices across the product and maintain strong customer

Qualifications

• Hands-on security engineering experience in production systems.
• Experience running or securing a cardholder data environment (PCI DSS).
• Ability to ship secure code and integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Find and fix vulnerabilities in applications and infrastructure.
• Build security checks and tooling into how we develop and ship software.
• Collaborate with engineers on security decisions in product and system design.
