Job summary

Vinted in the United Kingdom is seeking a Staff/Senior Staff Security Engineer for Vinted Pay. You will own the security of the Payments estate, translating regulatory requirements into practical controls and collaborating with Engineering, Security, and Compliance teams to harden multi-region AWS infrastructure and payment systems.

As an individual contributor now, you’ll start hands-on, close gaps, and over time shape the security engineering capability, aligning with PCI DSS, DORA, and FCA

Qualifications

• Hands-on security engineering in large production systems.
• Experience with PCI DSS / fintech regulatory regimes.
• Ability to translate risk into concrete engineering controls.

Responsibilities

• Own the Vinted Pay security roadmap end to end and drive risk closure.
• Translate PCI DSS, DORA, and FCA requirements into practical controls.
• Review AWS infra, payment pipelines, SIEM, and vulnerability tooling.
• Own PCI DSS and data protection architecture across multi-region envs.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and contribute code where needed.
